Huzi and Jesse of Florence James Collective are two of the best people.

Like, to the point where it makes the story they shared in today’s episode even more audacious. Because who DOES that to two people, who are so talented, funny, sweet, and kind? That we love so much? With our whole hearts? HOW DARE THEY?

Right?

Right.

Huzi and Jesse joined today’s episode to tell us about their experiences as self-taught creative business owners, and their rise to photography and videography success. They expanded on their journey from nightclubs to Uber Eats, to butcher shops, to assembly lines and to finally running their own studio. They even shared their methodology behind becoming a one-stop shop for creative content and props.

(Anyone else here a self-taught creative? Give us a 👋 below)
So, that’s Huzi and Jesse. Two wonderful people, with one not-so-wonderful client. Without giving it all away, we’ll just summarize their client experience with a few *idiotic* one-liners. Please enjoy 👇

“Just pick up any other similar capsules (to shoot) at the store” (ahem - they’re a vitamin brand)

“I don’t want video… but I DO want GIFs”

“‘WE’ need to correct that”

“Send me a screenshot to show it’s been fixed. Come on!”

And we’re just going to warn you that “you guys will need to reshoot these” will definitely become a trigger. Sorry. But you’re voluntarily along for the ride 🤷‍♀️

This story gave our own linty gummies a run for their money. Oh, and today’s drink was aptly named “Keeping Our Cool.” Because we needed that energy, obviously.
